Market outlook  

Stock market: The VN-Index rose until it reached the resistance level of 995, at which point it met resistance. The index fell below 980 points before recovering towards the conclusion of the session to close at 985.59 points, a tiny increase of nearly 4 points from yesterday. The market breadth moved to the positive side, with 14 of 19 sectors increasing, led by power, water, and petroleum and gas. In terms of foreign investor transactions, they were net buying on both the HSX and the HNX today. Because the market is still struggling to find a short-term bottom, investors should trade with caution and avoid chasing buying in the coming sessions.

Future contracts: All Contracts decreased according to VN30 movement. Investors are recommended to trade short-term in the direction of selling during the session.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on November 9, 2022, coverred warrants fluctuated along with the correction of the underlying stocks.

Highlights:
• VN-Index +3.94 points, closing at 985.59. HNX-Index +1.62 points, closing at 201.39.
• Pulling the index up: BID (+9.49), VCB (+9.08), GAS (+7.09), VNM (+6), CTG (+5.99).
• Pulling the index down: NVL (-14.23), VHM (-9.88), HPG (-6.08), VIC (-5.97), PDR (-3.1).
• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 7,729 billion, decreased -4.78% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 10,394 billion.
• The trading range is 16.77 points. The market had 245 advancers, 87 reference stocks, 178 decliners.
• Foreign investors' net buying value: VND 566.85 billion on HOSE, including FUESSVFL (244.96 billion), VHM (152.42 billion), BID (74.44 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 102.5 billion.
