Market outlook Stock market: After a struggling day, VN-Index closed at 1,134.33, almost unchanged from yesterday. Market breadth tilted to the positive side with 10/19 sectors gaining, in which Basic Resources again led the gain, followed by Healthcare. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they net sold on the HSX and net bought on the HNX. Currently, VN-Index is slowing down after a short-term recovery, but it is still showing positive signals and may return to 1,150 in the next few sessions.
Future contracts: Futures contracts increased according to the movement of VN30. Investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.
Covered warrants: In the trading session on June 27, 2023, covered warrants fluctuated along with the recovery of the underlying stocks.
Highlight:
• VN-Index +2.3 points, closing at 1134.33. HNX-Index -0.19 points, closing at 230.82.
• Pulling the index up: HPG (+0.89), VRE (+0.44), VHM (+0.44), FPT (+0.42), SSI (+0.31).
• Pulling the index down: TCB (-0.3), SAB (-0.25), VPB (-0.25), LGC (-0.17), EIB (-0.13).
• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 12,682 billion, decreased -30.73% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 14,654 billion.
• The trading range is 7.67 points. The market had 221 advancers, 66 reference stocks, 194 decliners.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -457.01 billion on HOSE, including VHM (-364.05 billion), STB (-91.02 billion), VNM (-40.65 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 9.66 billion.
