Market outlook  

Stock market: VN-Index dropped nearly 10 points in today's session, closing at 1,105.4 points. Market breadth tilted to the negative side with 13 out of 19 sectors dropping, in which Real Estate led the decline. On the other side, Retail, Financial Services, etc. had quite positive trading sessions. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they net sold on the HSX and net bought on the HNX. Today trading volume was quite low, showing that VN-Index can return to the recovering trend after a short-term correction.

Future contracts: Futures contracts decreased according to the movement of VN30. It is recommended that investors trade cautiously in the coming sessions.

Covered warrants: In the trading session on June 19, 2023, covered warrants fluctuated along with the correction of the underlying stocks.

Highlights:
• VN-Index -9.82 points, closing at 1105.4. HNX-Index -1.92 points, closing at 226.52.
• Pulling the index up: SAB (+0.29), VCI (+0.18), SHB (+0.16), VGC (+0.13), CTG (+0.12).
• Pulling the index down: VCB (-3.8), VIC (-1.31), VHM (-1.08), MSN (-0.73), BID (-0.51).
• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 12,464 billion, decreased -38.77% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 14,317 billion.
• The trading range is 14.32 points. The market had 113 advancers, 45 reference stocks, 315 decliners.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -107.31 billion on HOSE, including NVL (-343.7 billion), VNM (-65.57 billion), VCB (-53.81 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 4.83 billion.

Movement of BSC30 and BSC50:
• BSC30 with positive movements of VGC (2.66%), DCM (1.61%), PVS (1.23%).
• BSC50 with positive movements of QNS (3.79%), LCG (3.46%), DGW (3.08%).
