Market outlook  
Stock market: The market has not been able to break through the resistance at 1,090 today. After a struggling day, VN-Index ended the session at 1,082.23 points, a slight decrease of 4 points compared to yesterday. Market breadth skewed to the negative side with 12 out of 19 sectors dropping, of which Basic Resources had the biggest drop. On the other hand, the sectors that still maintained a good increase can be listed as Oil & Gas, Automotive and Spare Parts. Regarding the transactions of foreign investors, today they continued to net sell on the HSX and slightly net buy on the HNX. The market is likely to still experience fluctuating sessions in the short term.
 
Future contracts: Futures contracts decreased with the movement of VN30. It is recommended that investors trade cautiously in the coming sessions.
 
Covered warrants: In the trading session on February 21, 2023, coverred warrants fluctuated along with the struggling movement of the underlying stocks.
 
Highlights:
• VN-Index -4.46 points, closing at 1082.23. HNX-Index -1.74 points, closing at 214.08.
• Pulling the index up: VCB (+0.48), PLX (+0.39), EIB (+0.34), PGV (+0.22), NVL (+0.2).
• Pulling the index down: BID (-1.18), VPB (-0.82), CTG (-0.71), HPG (-0.43), MBB (-0.34).
• The matched value of VN-Index reached VND 10,405 billion, decreased -0.92% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 11,859 billion.
• The trading range is 13.3 points. The market had 182 advancers, 67 reference stocks, 234 decliners.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -73.45 billion on HOSE, including DXG (-45.1 billion), DPM (-35.41 billion), VND (-26.31 billion). Foreign investors were net buyers on HNX with the value of VND 25.51 billion.
